Transmission Fluid Condition & Level
We inspect fluid level, color and smell, checking for low fluid, dark or burnt fluid, and signs of contamination that can damage internal components.
Signs: Dark or burnt-smelling fluid, visible leaks under the vehicle, or needing to top off fluid frequently.
Pan, Filter & Magnet
When serviceable, we remove the pan to inspect for metal debris, replace the filter, clean the magnet and reseal the pan to help protect the transmission.
Signs: Excess metal shavings in the pan, clogged filter symptoms, or recurring fluid leaks around the pan area.
Cooler Lines & External Leaks
We check transmission cooler lines, fittings and seals for leaks, damage or restrictions that can lead to overheating and internal wear.
Signs: Fluid spots on the driveway, a burning smell after driving, or visible wetness around lines and fittings.
Shifting Quality & Operation
